Q-2, r. 35.4 - Regulation respecting halocarbon destruction projects eligible for the issuance of offset credits

Full text
21. To quantify the total GHG emission reductions attributable to a project during the reporting period, the promoter must use Equation 1:
Equation 1
ERT = ERF + ERR
Where:
ERT = total GHG emission reductions attributable to the project, in metric tonnes CO2 equivalent;
ERF = GHG emission reductions attributable to the destruction of halocarbons contained in foam, calculated using Equation 2 in section 23, in metric tonnes CO2 equivalent;
ERR = GHG emission reductions attributable to the destruction of halocarbons used or intended to be used as refrigerants, calculated using Equation 8 in section 27, in metric tonnes CO2 equivalent.
